Kaptur Recovering After Toledo Crash

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is out of the hospital and moving to physical rehab after a hit-and-run crash on N. Detroit Avenue last week. She and her campaign manager were heading to church when an unknown driver struck their vehicle and fled the scene.

Police say they're making progress on finding the driver. Kaptur thanked supporters for the outpouring of well-wishes that helped speed her recovery.

Mettler-Toledo Draws Fresh Investor Interest

Mettler-Toledo International, the precision instruments maker with deep roots in laboratory and industrial markets, saw a significant uptick in institutional investment this quarter. Assenagon Asset Management more than doubled its stake, now holding over 33,000 shares worth nearly $43 million.

The company's stock has been trading near $1,429, with analysts maintaining a cautious but steady outlook. Insiders have been active too, with recent sales totaling nearly $5 million over the past three months.

Detwiler Park Stream Gets Upgrade

Construction just wrapped on a stream restoration project at Detwiler Golf Course, aimed at cutting down erosion and improving water quality. The work should also help with flooding issues on the course while creating better habitat for fish and aquatic life.

It's a collaborative effort between the city, Ohio EPA, USGS, and local contractors, all working to make the park a little healthier and more functional for everyone who uses it.
